Denise Holleran-Boswell / President & Managing Partner

Denise is the founder of the CIKI Learning Centre and a management consultant with over 30 years of industry experience as a practicing project manager. In her role as a workshop leader, Denise has developed project management methodologies and workshop materials and has trained over 1000 people. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the International Association of Business Analyst (IIBA), and is a past President of the Society of PMP’s of Greater Vancouver.

Denise is also an advisor to UBC’s Business Analysis Certificate Program and Program Management Certificate Program, and is a part-time faculty member at UBC Sauder School of Business, where she is the Program Leader for the Certificate in Advanced Project Leadership.

In addition, she has advised on several project Executive Steering Committees, including several panels of experts for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the International Association of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) Planning Panel of Experts to advise on the development of their business guidelines in Project Management of ERP Systems.

Denise is often requested as a guest speaker. Most recently, she provided expert insight at: UBC Certificate in Project Management Program, Project World*Business Analyst World, the International Association of Business Analysis, Society of PMPs of Greater Vancouver, itSMF Annual National Conference, BC Manufacturer’s Executive Council and PwC’s Annual Global Forestry Industry Conference.

As the Managing Partner, Denise manages the company's day-to-day operations. She brings years of practical experience to her role having not only managed, audited and rescued multi-million dollar projects but also having trained many business analysts and project managers in her day. She will help ensure that workshop leaders and workshop materials always meet industry-best standards. Denise will also focus on building client relationships, dedicating herself to ensuring clients' needs are met by the CIKI Learning Centre workshops.
